EA Sports announced today that former Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre will be the cover athlete for Madden NFL 09. Favre who will grace the 20th anniversary, played 17 season, three-time Most Valuable Player, NFL records on most consecutive starts (253, 275-including playoffs) as QB and all-time leader on touchdowns (442), completions (5,377), attempts (8,758), yards (61,655), and wins (160)

Not just that, the cover truly deliver Favre signature stance and this could be one of the best sports box art yet.
