Too long

Been months since we last posted on our blog and this equals lots of making up to do. So far the big news in NFL is Michael Turner going to Atlanta. Can you say F-A-N-T-A-S-Y..

Turner, 5-foot-10, 237 pounds, was a fifth-round selection by the San Diego Chargers in the 2004 NFL Draft. In four seasons with the Chargers, he totaled 228 carries for 1,257 yards and six touchdowns while adding 71 receiving yards playing behind running back LaDainian Tomlinson. He agreed on six-year contract worth 34.5 million, including $15 million in guaranteed money.

The Titans tested the free-agent pool, reaching agreement with former Atlanta free-agent tight end Alge Crumpler. The deal is for two years and will be signed on Monday. Crumpler had also visited the Buccaneers and Seahawks.
