Ubaldo Jimenez traded to the Cleveland Indians 😦

– Awaiting a physical, Jimenez will join the Cleveland Indians in the stretch run. The Colorado Rockies will receive three pitchers in the deal: Drew Pomeranz, Alex White and Joe Gardner – all were in Indians’ Top 10 prospects.

Pence Debut Against the Pittsburgh Pirates

– “I’m a little uncomfortable,” said Pence, who joined the Phillies following Friday night’s trade with the Houston Astros. Hunter went 1-for-5 with one RBI on the bottom eight.

Ryan Howard Milestone

– 1,000 career hits, a double in the third inning.

Yankees Set a Franchise Record 12 Runs in the First Inning

– The New York Yankees, in their second split doubleheader game, scored a franchise record 12 runs in the first inning breaking the previous record of 10 going back in July 10, 1970.

Dan Uggla 21 Game Hit Streak

– Dan Uggla extended his hit streak to 21 games. During those games, he raised his .173 batting average to .206.
